As 2016 comes to a close we want to thank everyone in our extended Wally & Son Family for a beautiful year. We suffered a tremendous loss in April when Katie passed away. She certainly left a huge hole in our family and our business. We have done our best to honor her by continuing to serve our customers to the best of our abilities. Our thanks for all who sent their well wishes during our transition, they were certainly appreciated. Thank you to you, our customers, we appreciate you bringing your cars to us, trusting us to take care of them, and to keep you safe on the road. Some of you we have known for many, many years, and we love to say hi when you come visit with your wheels. Thank you to our new customers for letting us introduce ourselves and our shop to you ~ we hope to earn your trust, and keep you coming back for years, and cars, to come! Thanks to our Wally & Son Family ~ for pulling together during our transition this year, and lear ... read more
I have been in the Wally & Son Family for a decade but officially joined the business this past April, 2016. It's been great to bring my business and retail management experience to the family business, and learn about the wonderful world of Automotive Repair at the same time! I have always been impressed with our customers. Young or old, new customers or long time customers, and everything in between, you are an impressive bunch. We appreciate you, and we love taking care of your cars and keeping them safe on the road. Most of all we love seeing your smiling faces each time you walk through our door. As I was driving here this morning there seemed to be an extra batch of angry drivers on the road. I stopped at the store to buy some supplies, and so many people had that angry holiday frenzy going on. I'll be honest, after working in retail for 25 years I don't spend a lot of time in stores, much less at the holidays. But as I ... read more
This holiday season we are teaming up with The Pongo Fund for a Holiday Fund-raiser. We have a huge love for animals, [if you've been here, it's hard to miss!] and when deciding where we wanted to give this season, The Pongo Fund was a great choice for us. They do great work for those in need, and we are happy to support them! How can you help? Schedule your services in November and December and we will donate 10% of select services at no cost to you. We are also accepting cash donations for The Pongo Fund, and all cash donors will receive a letter for tax deduction purposes! We are donating 100% of all WINDSHIELD WIPER sales with free installation. We are donating 10% of select ... read more
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING WALLY’S JOLLY WALKERS 2016! RELAY FOR LIFE 2016 was a great success! Our theme this year was ROCK OUT TO KNOCK OUT CANCER, and this year it was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, July 22nd at 6 pm, and wrapped up at noon on Saturday, the 23rd. The event was so much fun this year. We weren’t sure if it was because we knew more people, or there were new activities at Relay, or just a new crew putting it together, but it was – like most years! – better than ever. We offered our lap bead necklaces for a $3 donation to our team fundraising goal. This year we added some charms – a double star [Rock Star!] and a 2016 charm – to make it more of a souvenir ~ and so you know what year each necklace is from. This year’s beads were sparkly black, purple, and silver, to go along with the theme. Our top bead lapper did over 27 miles – and he is 10 YEARS OLD! T ... read more

We were honored to host a table at the recent A Night for Life at the LifeChange Center for Women & Children in the Beaverton area ~ one of the Union Gospel Mission shelters. Keith, Jamie, Tiersa, and Tiersa's Aunt enjoyed getting a tour of the facility, learning more about what they do at the center, and meeting some of the women and children who are current residents there. El Gaucho was the catering sponsor, so no one left hungry! We got to hear from a few of the women whose lives have been changed by their time at the center. And we met a man who is a Pastor, and was born to slaves on a plantation in the South. I can't tell you how deeply moving that was, just hearing those words. We love working with our neighbors and community to help where we can. And we enjoyed getting to meet so many great people!
